Using Your VEX Gift Card

Getting to know how VEX Gifts work – from giving to receiving.

Redeeming your VEX Gift code

Begin by visiting the dedicated redemption site at: redeem.vexgiftcards.com

Enter your VEX Gift Card details

Start by entering your long (20 character) number from your VEX Gift. Then you’ll need to add your PIN.

Once submitted, the value of the VEX Gift is shown on screen. If you’re not ready to use it straight away then you can save to Google or Apple Wallets.

Each VEX Gift has a 3 (three) year expiry date from the point of issuance so make sure you take a note of its start and end date.

Choose your gift cards

To begin your choice, go to the brand selection page. You can filter by category and type and add more than one type of gift card to your basket.

Add gift cards and eGifts up to the value of the VEX Gift Card. If you need to top-up an amount then you can do this at the checkout. (Top-up amounts are permitted up to the value of the original VEX Gift Card – so for instance you could add £10 to a £20 VEX Gift, but not £30).

Once selected, run through a few simple delivery instructions – for digital delivery we just need an email address. If you’ve chosen a physical gift we’ll need a delivery address.

Once received, your retail gift card is live and ready to spend.

Check the retailer’s own Terms & Conditions for any specific details about using their gift card or digital gift and in particular expiry dates.

VEX Gifts have a three year expiry date but once exchanged, the expiry date of each retailer continues. So, for example a VEX Gift can be used up to 3 years, if exchanged for John Lewis, there would be a further two years to use before the card is rendered invalid. See our full FAQs for details.

Formats available

VEX Gifts are available in a different formats depending on your needs.

Which ever format you choose, each one carries a redemption code and a unique security PIN. Whoever’s spending the VEX Gift will need both to exchange for a retail gift card.

You can buy digital versions which can be delivered instantly to your recipient. These can carry your personal message and be sent with your own uploaded photo or with one of our design choices.

VEX Gift Cards are also available as a physical card. (Learn about the environmental qualities of our cards and packaging here.) Physical gift cards come in an attractive gift wallet detailing the various brands that are on the programme.

For business use we also produce a tri-fold version which has plenty of space for company logo and messaging. This is designed to be posted out to individuals or mass-printed to be handed out in person to teams and groups.
